Reading the Bible in One Year--
A Section at a Time

Following is a schedule that allows one to read through both the Old and New Testaments in a year's time, reading the NT twice. Reading assignments are organized by sections of Scripture in two month blocks--allowing for some flexibility on busy days on which you may not be able to devote as much time to reading as on other days. Be sure to read the Bible everyday and allow enough time during the 60-day block to finish the assignment by the end of the block.

A Chronological Bible Reading Guide

For Dads This schedule is offered with the hope that it will encourage and help structure your daily devotional time with your family.

By the Week This schedule, organizing the reading for a week at a time, allows one to read concurrently through both the Old and New Testaments in a year's time, reading the NT twice.

By Two-Month Blocks This schedule, organizing the reading into a two-month block per large section of Scripture (Pentateuch, History, Writings, Prophets, New Testament), allows one to read concurrently through both the Old and New Testaments in a year's time, reading the NT twice.

Start-Any-Month With this schedule, you can begin reading through both the Old and New Testaments in any month and will go through the entire Bible in a year's time, reading the New Testament twice. Also, you can chose to read only the New Testament, or the New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs in a year.

Read the Bible in 90 Days! With this schedule, you can begin reading in any month, or any day for that matter, and will go through the entire Bible in 90 days' time.
